More than just a coffee shop...
The Greenhouse Café is...
A place to learn new skills through volunteering.
A safe space where it's okay to be honest about how you're doing.
A place to laugh, cry and breathe.
A place of hope where Jesus can be found.
Somewhere to receive prayer, whether for the first or the hundredth time.
We couldn't operate without our incredible volunteering team!

Everyone has a different purpose to volunteering - for some it's the social aspect being able to meet new people, for others it's to give back to the community and for some it is a springboard into greater things!
From serving you top notch coffee to clearing tables, there is so much to be done and so many opportunities to learn. Our volunteers have used their time with us on CVs to attain paid positions elsewhere!

Volunteering
Pay it Forward
We support our church ministries such as Christians Against Poverty and the Foodbank by running our Pay it Forward scheme. Our café team are able to use these to provide someone in need with a hot drink and bowl of soup.

We are so grateful for the amazing generosity that we have seen over the years with hundreds of our vouchers being gifted! They can make someone's day that bit brighter. Customers can add these to their orders when paying.
