lifelong learning

At we want to be increasingly committed to lifelong learning. We long to be a church where every person is growing in their relationship with Jesus, a church where people are actively involved in ministry, and a church where people are equipped to live life to the full.

small groups

small groups The best environment for growth as disciples is through regular attendance at Sunday services and in the context of a small group. For more information on small groups visit the small groups page.

discipleship groups & partnerships

One-to-one discipleship partnerships are a way of an older Christian encouraging someone who is younger in their Christian faith through one to one discussion and mentoring. We try to link people up and provide them with material.

We also offer discipleship groups and baptismal and membership courses.

freedom in Christ discipleship course

freedom in Christ discipleship course This course looks at topics such as what Christ has done for us on the cross, who I am now in Christ, the lies that Satan tries to get us to believe, how to deal with temptation, forgiving others, and walking in freedom. The various circumstances and events of our lives can at times make it difficult for us to progress in our relationship with God. This course reminds us of our new identity in Christ and helps us break free from the hindrances, giving us a new sense of liberty in our Christian walk and in our relationship with the Lord.

We sometimes offer seminars looking at things like How to Interpret the Bible or that provide a Bible Overview. There is also training that goes on for our small group leaders and pastoral teams.

outside conferences & events

You will often find outside conferences and events advertised in our weekly bulletin or on the notice boards.

engaging with the bible

The Bible is the foundation for our lives as Christians.

On a Sunday morning, through our sermon series, we try to help people understand and engage with the Bible. We expect to hear God speak to us through the pages of his word.

In our small groups we are wanting people to wrestle with how the Bible is to be lived out in daily life, and we regularly encourage people to read the Bible for themselves each day, drawing strength and direction from it, as they strive to follow Jesus as Lord.
